Federal and state social distancing measures are becoming more expansive and prolonged to control the community spread of COVID-19. Rutgers T.E.E.M Gateway is embedded in communities across our state, and we are doing our part to address this deepening public health crisis.
In line with current university policy recently outlined by President Barchi, all in-person events, classes, programs, club meetings, and other group activities organized by or under the auspices of Rutgers Cooperative Extension are suspended through at least August 14, 2020.
Rutgers University remains open and operational, and every effort is being made to move programs into remote education formats and to develop innovative ways of engaging those who we serve.
Thank you for your patience in this difficult time, and please don't hesitate to contact our teams if we can be of help as we all adjust to working and learning in this environment. Further guidance will be provided over the course of the next month as we prepare a sustained effort to protect our community while remaining committed to our mission and program participants.
We want to thank every member of our Rutgers community for the grace and flexibility with which you have responded to this historic crisis. You have shown resolve, toughness, and an incredible determination to make it work. Together, our communities will overcome the obstacles ahead.
