Project Rise student

Rutgers Transitional Education and Employment Management (T.E.E.M.) Gateway is dedicated to helping youth and young adults on a path to success in education and employment. Since 1989, Rutgers T.E.E.M. Gateway has been the premier innovative urban youth development division of Rutgers University, serving out-of-school, disconnected and court-involved youth across New Jersey.

We provide direct services and a systems-based, collaborative approach to positive youth development in order to address a range of needs, including:

  • High School Equivalency Training
  • School Enrollment
  • Educational Programs
  • Work Readiness and Internship
  • Wraparound Services
  • Positive Youth Development
